It's more a complete document of the Bluesbreakers' recordings with Peter Green, of which A Hard Road was just the most prominent part.

That the blues hit me in my life You know I was born for trouble And it's a hard road till I die I've loved and lost so many women The cause of many broken heart Drank and drifted through the years And watched my family fall apart I'm gonna pack up my suitcase Put my misery inside Throw in a bit of pain and trouble And that's the road I'll ride.

It's the classic track album, to be played and enjoyed as a reminder of the British Blues Boom of the late '60s and where Mayall reigned supreme. Peter Green's short contribution to Mayall's ever-changing, evolving sound is legendary. His playing surpasses superlatives! A highly recommended album/5().
